Generation 6: Goth and Spare Offshoots

I’m getting tired of managing two separate offshoots of Sims. There are a couple of other offshoots that have spawned recently, but I’m not keeping track of those and TBH I may “end” those genetic lines to prevent the neighborhood from being too inbred. I’ve had issues with the neighborhoods in past legacies being filled with relatives. Awkward.

Technically not a Goth offshoot, she’s Silvara’s niece but they’re all a bit inbred so whatever. It somehow tracks that she is high maintenace.

  • The favorite child thus far. TBH I don’t like micromanaging sim kids all that much so I usually just pick one and do all of the aspirations. I’m going to be big sad if he ages up super ugly or gets an obnoxious trait like High Maintenance.
  • Named after Harry Kim of course. I figure, if the real Harry Kim doesn’t get promoted past ensign, sim Harry can at least get promoted to legacy heir. Maybe.
  • The game chose the hair. He unintentionally looks like Tarzan and for that alone, I think he’s probably going to be the “chosen one.”

Twin 2. Second favorite Voyager kid. He’s being chosen to carry the spares line. He’s hooking up with Bridgett and getting moved into the Goth Legacy Apartment after completing the legacy portrait. As the second favorite and chosen spare, he gets to have a cool beard I guess.

Second favorite kid gets to actually use his aspiration points instead of buying potions to give to the favored child. Married him to Bridget, moved him in with her. Good luck!

Ex. Divorced and moved out. I don’t remember what his original “planned storyline” was supposed to be as the last time I played this legacy was months ago but, it was a forced relationship because I wanted to breed two magic users together. They constantly bicker and that was getting old so he needed to go.

Patch Squires

Traits: Free Spirit, Intelligent, Brave
Breed: Lipizanner

Patch is a normal-ass horse with a normal-ass lifespan, not an immortal familiar like the cat. He exists to complete some of the horse aspiration stuff (and to just play with it tbh since I purchased the horse expansion on sale but haven’t had a chance to really do everything with it).

  • I kind of want to add a female horse to one of the legacy rentals so that I can breed them without eating sim space on the main lot.
  • The horse is a huge pain in the ass. It shits everyone and constantly bitches about being bored but for some reason, the game is really glitchy about getting him to play with his stupid ball.
  • Sold the horse after Paul’s death. Horse takes up a slot and is a PITA

Generation 5: Gwyneth Squires

Twin 2. ????? she vanished. Aged up to infant and then at some point vanished? She wasn’t taken away because I didn’t get the notification and no one has a sad emote. So….bug? RIP Gwyneth I guess.
